Ram Varsity Football Highlights

East Sac County 29 - MVAOCOU 14
The game between two undefeated teams started like a game between two undefeated teams should, well matched. The game was even tied at the half. And then things went a bit off kilter for the Rams, and they suffered their first loss of the young season.
The Rams' two touchdowns came from a pair of catches from Cade Schmidt to Jake Scott, the most dramatic being a 36 yard catch. Scott was the receptions leader with 101 yards over 5 catches. Bronx Siebersma was the rushing leader with 16 yards over 2 carries.
On the defensive side of the game, Bo Clausen, who recorded 5 1/2 tackles, also caught an interception to stop a Raider run. Lincoln Gotto, racking up 9 1/2 tackles, also forced a fumble. The tackle leader was Bram Bielenberg with 14 1/2, one of which was for a loss. Scott accumulated 7 1/2 tackles, two for losses. Siebersma and a tackle for a loss in his 6 tackles.
