    The Rams started their season on their home turf against the Big Red. The home team started very quickly as Jake Scott ran the kick off back for 6 points. The 2-point attempt run in by Bo Clausen, giving the Rams a quick 8-point lead. The game slowed way down with lots of flags flying throughout the night. The Rams' defense denied the guests from getting into the end zone, giving the Rams a shut out win.
    Cade Schmidt threw 6 passes for 93 yards, 3 which landed in the arms of a Ram for a touchdown. Jake Scott caught two of those throws with the longest an impressive 33-yard catch. Bronx Siebersma was the recipient of the other TD, a 25 yard toss. Siebersma was the leader in receptions with 46 yards in 2 catches. He was also the leader in rushes with 4 carries for 40 yards.
    Defensively, Cohen McCartney had an interception to stop the Big Red from advancing. Lincoln Gotto led in tackles with 10 1/2 and a tackle for loss. Xavier Folk contributed 7 tackles, 2 for losses. Bram Bielenberg and Clausen both recorded 6 tackles, Bielenberg's for a loss. Brayton Paterson also had a tackle for loss among his 5 1/2 tackles.

MVAOCOU 41 - Manson NW Webster 30

    The Rams traveled to Cougar Country for their second game and their second win.    
    Cade Schmidt threw three touchdowns in the win, two to Jake Scott and one to Bronx Siebersma. Two of these passes were absolute bombs, covering over half the football field. Scott was the leader in receptions with 5 totaling 98 yards. Siebersma had 2 catches totaling 83 yards. Bram Bielenberg had just one reception, but it was 59 yards. Bo Clausen led in rushing yards with 132 over 16 carries. He and Xavier Folk both ran the ball 14 yards for touchdowns. Grace Schaffer nailed a PAT while Clausen and Folk both ran the ball in for 2-point conversions.
    Defensively, Scott stopped a Cougar rally with an interception. Cohen McCartney jumped on a fumble to hand the ball to the Ram offense. Lincoln Gotto was a tackle beast with 15 total, 10 solo. Bielenberg added 9 tackles while Scott had 8. Clausen and Brayton Paterson each had 5 1/2 while McCartney recorded 4. Logan Trucke's solo tackle pushed the Cougar offense back for a loss in yardage.
