The MVAO Elementary, Mapleton students participated in their third quarter Reading Celebration on Tuesday, March 17. The second and third grade classes shared various St. Patrick's Day jokes and poems with the rest of the student body. Mrs. Oberreuter talked about the upcoming book fair and National Library Week in April. After that, various reading awards were handed out.

    The MVAO Elementary - Anthon Center students participated in their third quarter Reading Celebration on Thursday, March 19. The second and third grade students, dressed as Leprechauns, began the event with a presentation of Little Leprechaun, a variation of the limerick, I'm a Little Teapot. After the student segment, Mrs. Oberreuter handed out various classroom and library reading awards. She also talked to the students about Read Across America Week that just passed and National Library Week that is coming up. In between awards, the students were given the opportunity to answer various riddles. They did an impressive job coming up with answers!
