The annual Parade of Bands was held on Thursday, March 5th at the MVAOCOU High School. The evening featured the bands in the MVAO School District, beginning with the fifth graders who have been playing their instruments for less than a year to the much more advanced Jazz Coalition. The evening culminated in the bands all merging to play as one.

The fifth grade band from both elementary schools combined to play "Hot Cross Buns" and "Old MacBingo." The sixth grade band performed "Mechanical Monsters" and "American Fantasy."

The high school concert band payed "Triumphal Overture" and "A Chidhood Hymn."

The Jazz Coalition performed "Bad Attitude!," "Round Midnight," and "Blue Bossa." A number of jazz members performed solos during the pieces.

    On February 17, 2026 four FFA members participated in Sub-Districts in Kingsley. The members who attended were Claire Schumacher, Jenna Rosener, Sam Schrunk, and Alex Wonder. Claire, Jenna, and Sam competed in the Chapter Program, and Alex competed in Job Interview. All members received Gold and advanced to Districts! They will then compete again on March 11, 2026 at South Central Calhoun to hopefully advance again to State!
